I was born and raised in Evansville, Indiana and I have two sons: Aiden (June 2004) and Aman (June 2008). I attended the University of Southern Indiana and graduated in 2007 with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelors Degree in Art with an Art History minor. In the fall of 2011, I moved to Denver, Colorado and I loved every moment of it! My family decided to move to Sitka in November 2022 and I am thrilled to be here!
I began working at 3 to 5 Preschool in 2023 and I am excited for this journey as Director and Teacher! I look forward to getting to know your child and your family as we embark on this learning adventure together!

Hi I'm Ms. Lisa! I was born and raised here in Sitka. I attended 3-5 Preschool many many years ago! I graduated college at Western Washington University with a major in Environmental Science. I recently completed my Early Childhood Montessori Diploma Program, and I am excited to guide the children with this newfound knowledge!
I enjoy all the outdoor things that Sitka has to offer. I have two boys, Tanner and Trygve, who both went to 3-5 preschool.
I've been involve with the school for several years, from volunteering as a parent, to serving on the board of directors, and now in the office and classroom. I'm excited to be helping with behind the scene tasks, and in the classroom with this amazing preschool team!
