I was born and raised in Evansville, Indiana and I have two sons: Aiden (June 2004) and Aman (June 2008). I attended the University of Southern Indiana and graduated in 2007 with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelors Degree in Art with an Art History minor. In the fall of 2011, I moved to Denver, Colorado and I loved every moment of it! My family decided to move to Sitka in November 2022 and I am thrilled to be here!
I began working at 3 to 5 Preschool in 2023 and I am excited for this journey as Director and Teacher! I look forward to getting to know your child and your family as we embark on this learning adventure together!

Hi I'm Ms. Lisa! I was born and raised here in Sitka. I actually attended 3-5 Preschool many many years ago! I graduated college at Western Washington University with a major in Environmental Science. I am currently studying Montessori, and will complete my Early Childhood Montessori Diploma Program this year.
I enjoy all the outdoor things that Sitka has to offer! I have two boys, Tanner and Trygve, who both went to 3-5 preschool.
I've been involve with the school for several years, from volunteering as a parent, to serving on the board of directors, and now in the office and classroom. I'm excited to be helping with behind the scene tasks, and be a part of this amazing preschool team!
